The new Permanent Secretary of the National Malaria Control Program
The new Permanent Secretary of the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP), Dr. Albert ZEH MEKA, has officially taken office.
Dr. Albert ZEH MEKA was appointed to this position on March 28 by a decision of the Minister of Public Health, Dr. MANAOUDA Malachie. Prior to this appointment, Dr. ZEH MEKA served as Deputy Permanent Secretary of the National AIDS Control Committee.
The inauguration ceremony took place in the NMCP conference room on April 2, presided over by representatives of the Minister of Public Health, the UCS coordinator, and the NMCP section heads.
During his inauguration, Dr. ZEH MEKA was described as being “in the right place.” His appointment is seen as a testament to his hard work and perseverance. While the staff of the National AIDS Control Committee celebrates this important milestone in his career with him, they are also sad to say goodbye to a formidable leader.
The Permanent Secretary of the National AIDS Control Committee, Dr. Joseph FOKAM, on behalf of the entire staff, wishes the new PS/NMCP every success in his new role within the Malaria Control Program.
