Coordination of NACC Activities Amid Efforts to Mitigate the Effects of Suspended External Funding.
Staff from the National AIDS Control Committee (NACC) are in Edea, in the Littoral Region, from March 14 to 16, 2025, for the traditional coordination meeting regarding its activities for the second half of 2024.
The meeting, chaired by Dr. Rogers AJEH, Coordinator of the Global Fund and Partners Grants Coordination Unit (GCU-GFP), was attended by technical directors from the Ministry of Public Health, RTG coordinators, section and unit heads, as well as other staff members of the institution.
In his address to the participants, Dr. AJEH urged staff to demonstrate diligence, mutual respect, and professionalism in carrying out their duties. He also commended the close collaboration between the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Joseph FOKAM, and his Deputy, Dr. ZEH MEKA Albert, inviting them to draw inspiration from this dynamic work environment to strengthen cohesion and efficiency within the NACC. Furthermore, he expressed his gratitude to the regional teams for their efforts to ensure the achievement of the program’s objectives.
