The validation meeting for Cameroon’s National Strategic Plan for the Triple Elimination of Vertical Transmission of HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B (2025–2030) concludes today.

This two-day meeting will bring together participants from the following institutions: the DSF, the NACC, the WHO, SHWARI, the CIRCB, the DLMEP, EGPAF, CDC/PEPFAR, the MINDDEVEL and the MINEPAT, SSS, SOCAPED, ABBOT, UNICEF, DAJC, DRFP, IGSPL, LNSP, DROS, DOSTS, JHPIEGO, UGP/IDB, SOGOC, CBCHB, DPS, EVIDENCE ACTION, Monitoring Unit of MoH, UNAIDS, NOLFOWOP, and CELCOM.

The objective of this meeting is to finalize and validate the document that will define the policy and strategies aimed at preventing vertical transmission, ensuring the management of the three conditions (HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B), and working toward their elimination among pregnant women and adolescent girls of reproductive age.
