The first consultation meeting with associations of adolescents and young people living with HIV

The first consultation meeting with associations of adolescents and young people living with HIV involved in the AIDS response took place this morning in the CTG-NACC conference room.

This meeting was chaired by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Joseph FOKAM, with the aim of strengthening the commitment and involvement of associations of adolescents and young people living with HIV (AJvVIH) in the implementation of interventions to combat HIV/AIDS in Cameroon, in order to promote an inclusive and community-based approach to achieving the ambitious goals of the 2024-2030 National Strategic Plan (PSN) and ensuring an effective and sustainable response to HIV.

In attendance were pediatricians from certain FOSAs, youth-led organizations, and health care providers involved in the care of young people living with HIV within the FOSA care continuum.
