The new Coordinator of the RTG for the Fight Against AIDS in the Central Region has been officially installed

The new Coordinator of the Regional Technical Group for the Fight Against AIDS in the Central Region (RTG Centre), Dr. Raissa DALHATOU DANYERE, has been officially installed. The installation ceremony took place on Tuesday, February 17, under the auspices of the Regional Public Health Delegate for the Central Region, Dr. Thérèse AZOUMBO MEFANT.

The Coordinator of the GCU-GFP, Dr. Rogers AJEH, invited the new Coordinator to work closely with her direct superiors, namely the Regional Delegate and the other programs. 

The Permanent Secretary of the NACC, Dr. Joseph FOKAM, urged the incoming Coordinator to be mindful of her heavy responsibility and to work closely with the staff under her supervision, as well as with stakeholders involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

The outgoing Coordinator, Dr. Lynda ABO’O ABESSOLO, pledged her support for the newly appointed Coordinator.
Dr. Raissa DALHATOU, for her part, promised to do her best to achieve the program’s objectives during her term.
To conclude the ceremony, the Regional Delegate urged the new Coordinator to be firm and dynamic in the performance of her duties.

A delegation from the Central Technical Group attended the ceremony, including the Permanent Secretary, the Deputy Permanent Secretary, Dr. Jean Claude ABOSSOLO, the Head of the Administrative and Personnel Unit, Mr. Madi HAMAN, Materials Accountant Ms. Chantal NGAMOUGOU, and the Head of the Communications Section, Mr. Simon Pierre ESSOUMBA, along with other GTC staff.

Representatives of the Central Regional Public Health Delegation and staff from the GTR-Centre were also present during the handover ceremony.
