The NACC and the National Assembly Strengthen Their Collaboration in the Fight Against HIV/AIDS
The 1st Vice President of the National Assembly granted an audience to NACC on 6 May, following the initiative undertaken to strengthen parliamentarians' capacities on advances, innovations and challenges related to the HIVresponse. NACC was represented by its Deputy Permanent Secretary, Dr. Jean Claude ABOSSOLO.
Among other things, discussions focused on the National Strategic Plan to Combat HIV/AIDS and STIs. The two institutions reviewed the priority areas of the plan.
This meeting reflects the desire to strengthen parliamentary engagement in the national response.
