Quarterly Coordination Meeting: The Public Sector Mobilizes Against HIV/AIDS

Today, the first quarterly coordination meeting of the public sector was held, chaired by the Head of the Health Sector Support Section, representing the Permanent Secretariat of the NACC.

Twenty-two HIV focal points from various ministries participated in this meeting, which aimed to strengthen coordination and monitoring of HIV/AIDS response interventions in the public sector.

On the agenda: a presentation of Cameroon’s response mitigation plan, sectoral reports and 2025 action plans, as well as suggestions for improving ministerial participation in the next edition of Cameroon AIDS Awareness Month.

The next step will be the statutory meeting, which will again require the public sector’s participation to continue the fight against AIDS.
