North West Region: PEPFAR Implementing Partners Review Progress and Strengthen HIV Response Coordination
The North West Regional Technical Group for HIV/AIDS (RTG-HIV) convened its monthly coordination meeting with PEPFAR implementing partners on Wednesday, June 2, 2026, at the RTG-HIV office.
The meeting provided a platform for partners to review the status of workplan submissions and reports, with particular emphasis on completeness and timely reporting. Participants also assessed program performance and key achievements recorded during the month of May 2026 while presenting planned activities for June 2026 to ensure effective implementation of HIV prevention, care, and treatment interventions across the region.
Discussions further focused on the evaluation of mitigation actions put in place to address operational and programmatic challenges. Partners examined progress made, identified gaps, and proposed corrective measures aimed at improving service delivery and achieving program targets.
